Carter graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2005 and received his Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in painting. Soon after, he returned to the midwest to teach and to return to one of his earliest passions, tattooing. He enjoys composing on a large scale and working in a variety of styles.
